Thanks to everyone who came out for the Sharing the Light concert on Wednesday December 18, it was an AMAZING event.
Over a thousand people filled the pews of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church for a concert of Hanukkah and Christmas music. The program helped bring the Jewish and African American communities closer through music, and food in the form of sufganiyot and Christmas cookies at the reception that followed.
Beyond the Jewish and African American communities, there were attendees from a wide variety of faiths on hand to enjoy the holiday concert and festivities.
Thanks to our partners at Pilgrim Rest, AZ Jewish Historical Society, Congregation Beth Israel and Temple Emanuel for such a wonderful evening of cultural exchange!
